information. While digital platforms offer immediate access to health tools,

environments, the ability to judge the credibility of digital content has
become essential for public health stability and personal well-being.
Research Methodology
The researchers conducted a
Systematic Literature Review following the Preferred Reporting Items for
Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA 2020) framework. They searched
five major academic databases—Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and
Google Scholar—retrieving 247 initial records published between 2020 and 2025.
After removing duplicates and screening full texts against strict eligibility
criteria, 10 empirical studies were selected for qualitative synthesis. The
team applied thematic analysis to code, group, and synthesize data across
diverse global populations.

literacy is unevenly distributed across societies. Advanced age, lower
educational attainment, economic disadvantage, and limited technology
access serve as primary barriers to effective digital health engagement.
